Whitehall-Coplay School District (WCSD) has begun working on three priority issues identified by a student survey in conjunction with the Communities that Care (CTC) program. Those issues are:- parents who think it’s OK to host underage drinking parties
- student drug use (marijuana and synthetic drugs), but also hard drugs that have led to at least one fatality
- hunger – high percentage of students eligible for subsidized school lunches, and students reporting they are chronically hungry
